Microsoft Patch Tuesday Update for July 2014

It’s that time of the month again! Microsoft Patch Tuesday! All you Windows users out there make sure to update your computer by either clicking on the Windows Update icon in your taskbar by the system clock, or you can go to the Control Panel and click on Windows Update.

Microsoft has released security patches specifically for Windows, Internet Explorer and it’s Server platform. The most important update this month is for Internet Explorer. This patch fixes a bug in IE that allows attackers to compromise the browser and potentially operate at an Administrator on your machine.

As always, please make sure to patch your computer’s software! All software! Not just Microsoft Windows, Office, IE, etc… Make sure to install updates if you have Adobe software, Java, iTunes, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and all other third party software manufacturers.
